Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers - Special Extended Edition, The (US - DVD R1)

As witht he first film, the Special Extended Edition features an hilarious Easter Egg...

As with the The Fellowship of the Ring, New Line Cinema's Special Extended Edition of The Two Towers features a hilarious egg. In order to see Gollum accepting the award for 'Best Virtual Performance' at the 2003 MTV Movie Awards, simply insert the first disc and do the following:

Highlight the 'Select a Scene' option, then press enter on your remote
Once in the menu, highlight 29-30 in the lower right hand corner and press enter
Press down on your remote until a gold ring appears (as in the image below), then press enter

You will now see a clip of Gollum accepting the award whilst insulting all and sundry, including Peter Jackson! A word of warning though—the egg isn't for the easily-offended among you!

Easter Egg, LOTR Two Towers

I have the 4 disc version, region 2 - and it is not there.
Oh well.

No it's not. The BBFC wouldn't approve it at the rating EiV desired for the DVD, so it was dropped (as was the sketch on the Fellowship Extended Edition DVD). The Gollum MTV short is on the region one and three releases.
