Buena Vista Home Entertainment’s release of Pirates of the Caribbean includes a number of hidden features. Insert the second disc of the set and from the 'Fly on the Set' entry. On the next screen, highlight the 'Play All' entry and then press right on your remote twice. This will highlight one of the monkey’s teeth. Press enter to view a time-lapse clip of the construction of the pirate cave.


Now go back to the main menu and select 'Below Deck'. Highlight 'Set Sail' and then press left twice to highlight the skull on the medallion. Press enter to view an animatic of a one of the ship-to-ship battle scenes.


Go back to the 'Beyond Deck' menu, select 'Scene Index' and then head to the second page of chapter stops. Highlight the entry 'Pirate Ships' and then press left twice on your remote to highlight the ring on the skeleton’s hand. Press enter to watch the film’s Japanese trailer.


Now go back to the disc’s main menu and highlight the '”Moonlight Serenade” Scene Progression’ entry. Press enter on your remote to access that menu, and then highlight the 'Main Menu' entry. Next, press the down twice to highlight one of the skeleton’s teeth. Press enter to watch and interview with Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards, in which he discusses how Johnny Depp based the character of Jack Sparrow on him.
