Insert disc one of the set and wait for the main menu to appear. Next, highlight the 'Language Selection' menu and press enter on your remote to be transported to the corresponding menu.

Now enter 1 1 3 8 using your remote control. With some players you may have to press enter after each digit, and on others (such as Pioneer models) you will need to press the 10+ key, followed by 1 3 8. This will reveal a hidden blooper reel, in which Jedis lose lightsabers and droids bump into things.

To access the three distinct menus schemes, simply press 1, 2 or 3 on your remote during the copyright warnings as the disc loads. You need to press 1 for Coruscant, 2 for Tatooine and 3 for Naboo.

For a hidden video which charts the making of the Podrace sequence in the film, simply insert disc two of the set, highlight 'Deleted Scenes and Documentaries' and press enter on your remote.

When you have reached this menu, select 'Deleted Scenes Only' and press enter. Select the 'Complete Podrace Grid Sequence' entry, then highlight the 'Documentary' menu item to the left. Now, press right on your remote control to highlight a small box. Press enter and the clip will play.

To view the 'Making Of' video of the second lap of the Podrace simply insert disc two of the set, highlight 'Deleted Scenes and Documentaries' and press enter on your remote.

When you have reached this menu, select 'Deleted Scenes Only', then navigate to the 'Extended Podrace Lap Two' menu item. Now the 'Documentary' menu item to the left and press right on your remote control to reveal a small box. Press enter on your remote and the clip will play.

These eggs work on all versions of The Phantom Menace DVD, although in some regions the 'Language Selection' menu is replaced by an 'Options' menu.
