Insert the first disc (or if you have the DVD18 version, the side with the movie on it) and wait for the menu to appear. Select the Special Edition of the film as normal and then key in the following on your remote: 82997 (this is the date of Judgment Day if you're interested). The symbols on the right hand side of the screen should change to the text 'The Future Is Not Set'. If this doesn't work, try pressing enter on your remote after each digit.

Once entered correctly, both of the Terminator's eyes will light up and you will see a new menu entry named 'Extended Special Edition'. This integrates some slightly altered scenes and a different ending into the film.

If you can't be bothered with all of that then simply using your remote to select title three on the disc will allow you to view the extended version of the film.

For some nice little animations insert the second disc/side and wait for the menu to appear. Don't touch anything and after about 30 seconds one of three random animations will occur.

In the first animation the words 'Join the Resistance' appear in the bottom left hand corner of the screen. Select this and you will receive a message from John Connor. In the second another symbol appears in the same place. Select this and you will be treated to a Swelltone trailer, where a bust of Beethoven explodes to reveal a Terminator's head! This trailer is also multi-angle. In the third and final animation the T-1000 morphs out of the screen and says 'Get Out!' These animations appear to be cycled at random.

Finally, although perhaps not strictly an Easter egg, are some Japanese trailers. On disc/side two, go to the 'Visual Campaigns' menu and highlight the bottom trailer (the one for the Special Edition DVD). Press left on your remote, hit enter and you will be presented with the trailers.
