Spider-Man 2.1 £7.67
Tesco (stores) have Spider-Man 2.1 for £7.67, or something like that I don't have my reciept handy.
Though the 8min aren't significant. Except the lift scene. They took out the "nice costume" bit and replaced it with some hack PR guy trying to sell Spidey ideas.
Nice slipcover though.

Thanks Nic, I was planning to pick this up out of curiousity, and that's a very decent price.  Can't believe they decided to replace the "nice costume" scene!

To be honest the 8 minutes don't make enough impact (except that scene) to warrent buying it but I'm too much of a nerd and needed it for completion sake.
Dammit

It seems that the average price for this is in the £7-£8 region. This along with Casino Raoyale being £7 at Asda, what's come over Sony all of a sudden? Being damn decent of late aren't they when they could be charging £15-£20 for the thing?

I'd imagine that it's nothing to do with Sony who I'm sure would do nothing to cut into their mega-profits and more to do with the supermarkets using the dvds to get people in through the door who will then get a bit of shopping whilst they're there.

Asda and Tesco are preety good generally on new release stuff. Peter Pan is 13.97 in Tesco and the high street dvd stores are now selling it for 22! Snap it up quick if you like classic Disney.
