Batman Begins is 2.35:1 I think. Thats it though.
Well, the first and second films were great, the third was alright, and the fourth was just plain horrible. I'd rather leave it at 1:85:1.

Why? the movie is great like it is, I don´t see what more could be added, even when (at least to me) a Director´s Cut is always better than the Theatrical Cut.

A trilogy with five films...interesting. Douglas Adams could get away with that, but you sir, are no Douglas Adams.
Sorry, I forgot what it meant,
please forgive me.
I should've said series instead,
darn my brain!

Just like Matt said,
those site's are incorrect,
all of the previous Batman films were made in 1.85:1,
with Batman Begins being the only film of the trilogy to be made in 2.35:1.

All of the '89-'97 Batman movies are 1.85:1 so there won't be any 2.35:1 release of the movies, and doing so would ruin them even worse than pan & scan transfers in this case. The descriptions you have read that state the films are in a 2.35:1 aspect ratio are incorrect.
Why on Earth would you want to watch the films in the wrong aspect ratio?
2.35.1 WIDESCREEN SPECIAL EDITION BATMAN DVDS?
I would be interested if anyone out there has any information regarding the recent release of the long awaited Batman 2 Disc DVD sets without any 2.35.1 formats available. Will Warner offer these formats when a 'Directors Cut' of Batman Begins is released. CD-WOW and Amazon.com advertised some of their stock as 2.35.1 and even DVD Review magazine listed their review discs as 2.35.1 incorrectly!
