Chris, when I brought up how blatantly homoerotic it was to the folks at my work I was greeted with many a frown. I thought it was pretty funny.
I saw 300 when it came out and it was badass. It certainly is not a war movie that says anything.Just war as art with nothing held back. Most beautiful war movie ever.Brillient cinematography and some great one liners. The people that call it racist and homosexual are putting these things into the film itself, complete ignorance on there part. Also this film is a throwback to 70's and 80's action movies which have similar themes as far as homosexuality.Examples:Stallone,Van Damme....etc.
I ve seen it in IMAX and I have to admit it is a very visual movie and that's it. It will be released in R-5 this May by Universal Pictures Rus.
Loved "300" for the artful look and direction of it all. My 16 year old son said it is now his favourite film ever! Not sure about that, but he's a blood-thirsty git... Hope Zack Snyder gets his $150 Million budget for his hoped for WATCHMEN adaption.
So, um... any word on the DVD release???
I think there were rumors about August but nothing is confirmed yet.
THIS IS CAKE TOWN!
Arrrrggghh
Arrrrggghh
As i know R-5 DVD will be released on May 25th.
