Really? Personally, I thought ıt was bloody awful. Yeah ıt looked pretty...but jeez. It was just two hours of them beıng all paranoıd and stoned. But hey thats me.

I read the movie/comic/stills-from-the-movie adaption and got bored.  I may watch it when it hits DVD or a movie channel someday, but I am not in a rush.

This is a good movie for insomniacs. It will send you to sleep. It's an absolutely unique looking film and I'm sure we'll never appreciate the amount of sweat it took to get it to the screen, but the overriding effect the picture has is to make you sleepy. There will hopefully be a substantial featurette on the DVD detailing the rotoscoping process to make the purchase of the DVD worthwhile before you settle to the feature and a nice nap.

I'm well-aware of his posting history, but he's behaved himself (mostly) for a while so I've not done anything about it.

I saw a clip and didnt think much of it to be honest, I think it will be one of those love or hate films.

Or maybe you fell asleep in the same place on each viewing. The whale sequence was the best thing in the film.
