Everyone I've talked to said it was rubbish, so that's saved me a few quid.

I read the movie/comic/stills-from-the-movie adaption and got bored.  I may watch it when it hits DVD or a movie channel someday, but I am not in a rush.

This is a good movie for insomniacs. It will send you to sleep. It's an absolutely unique looking film and I'm sure we'll never appreciate the amount of sweat it took to get it to the screen, but the overriding effect the picture has is to make you sleepy. There will hopefully be a substantial featurette on the DVD detailing the rotoscoping process to make the purchase of the DVD worthwhile before you settle to the feature and a nice nap.

I'd watch who you're calling an idiot if you want to keep posting, 'Badass'.

I'm well-aware of his posting history, but he's behaved himself (mostly) for a while so I've not done anything about it.

Oh, please... I got it just fine, and what I got was bored.  I liked the rotoscope design, but it was more distracting at times than just a regularly shot flick might have been.

********

I'm slightly confused (What with being an idiot n' all..) but that's exactly what I said only I used fewer words. So how can I not understand it? I mean the bit where the whale jumped over the wall to escape the zoo people was alright but whuff, nothing special...

Yes you do. You just don't get it.

Or maybe you fell asleep in the same place on each viewing. The whale sequence was the best thing in the film.

Yeah but he just didn't "get it" it. It would have been cruel to carry on. Wink

I know what you mean. You could almost hear his unhinged mind cracking in two at the mention of whales. Need to give him some mellow time to chill.

Not you as well Tony. Are you telling us you don't 'get it?'

For some people whales is just a state of mind.

For others, it's just where they live, man.
