The Prestige has been announced for release by Buena Vista on February 20th.
According to another dvd news site, it is only one disc. Unless the DVD is presented in DTS audio, I don't think there will be a 2 Disc. I've noticed in recent years that MOST 2 disc editions of films have their special features on the second disc because the first disc has the feature film in DTS audio, which take up a lot of disc space.

The flick did disappointing box-office, so the studio may be dumping it.
It definately hasn't been officially announced - any news available will be via a retail source. The studio hasn't issued a press release or anything yet.

Then how come, when I do a search on other sites, they too have the following news...

So no commentary? Or is it now called the "In Movie Experience with the Director" on HD/BR?

Yeah, you can see it's from a retail source - look at the cover. It's got a big price sticker in the corner which means its come from a magazine advertisement. That doesn't constitute an official announcement in my books!
