Framing
On parts II and III, there were framing issues, it was the fullscreen version with black bars on top and bottom, missing little details. I have yet to watch II and III in their entirety, but the framing is fixed as you can see the jacket "fit" Marty in part II.



This should clear it up.

P.S. I bought the set 2-3 weeks ago and it was all fixed, but make sure the sticker says "Own it before time runs out!" that way you know it's a recent shipment.

can someone explain this? I have yet to pick up the set, but I was going to buy it the other day... what was the mix up?

The R1 copy is now fine and corrected and has more extra's then the R2 but misses out on the dts sounntracks.

Back to the Future: re-release?
I like many people i'm sure have been waiting for the corrected versions of the Back to the Future DVD set to be re-released.

I was looking forward to getting this title for AGES (as were a lot of people) after finding out about the problems with the DVD I held of getting it and waited for the re-release. Which I believe was originally planned for the end of Feb.

Does anyone know the status of the re-release? can I order a copy of the R1 BTTF now and get a corrected copy??
