Despite reports that Sony was refusing to allowing its DVD manufacturing plants to produce porn films in its high-definition Blu-ray format, Vivid Entertainment has announced that it plans to release Debbie Does Dallas -- Again on Blu-ray on March 28. According to Video Business magazine the format will allow the producers to attempt something new -- show multiple angles of the same sex scene simultaneously. Vivid said that it will charge the same price, $39.95 for either the Blu-ray version or the conventional DVD.

I did read that if the pron industry gets behind HD-DVD, it may help swaay the war a bit due to the volume of product that gets produced now...

Interesting development. I personally, prefer Blu-Ray simply because of the much larger storage capacity, but I could care less who wins the race, so long as some wins it sooner than later.
I only point this our because the porn industry's support of VHS over Betamax is one of the primary factors that are cited as the reason for VHS winning over Beta.
