Bought couse of the Edition quality ??????
Hey...i wonder.....

Have you ever bought any DVD not becouse of the movie itself, but couse of the QOuality of the Edition- I mean couse of the great box, great extra stuff (like booklets, cards etc.) ???????????

I think I just did with the 2Disk SE of "The Cronicles of Narnia". Happy

I generally don't.  After all, it is mainly the movie that people should want.

If the new disc contains an upgrade to the sound and/or picture that makes the older disc obsolete, such as the recent Mission: Impossible SE, then yeah, but I usually don't go for just more extras unless it's a commentary track that I'm particularly interested in.

I buy a lot of premium stuff, models box with so-so movie...

Like the matrix, I have just about every edition of the movie eg. neo figure, 10-disc ue, snapper bla bla bla etc... despite no liking the film that much...simply because I am crazy about 'aesthetic' packaging...

But in saying that I have a lot of great movies in just a simple edition as well...

Ditto. Just got the new edition of Crimson Tide for those very reasons. BTW to anyone interested, it's hardly a Special Edition. In fact, there are barely any supplements on it.

I bought the Limited Edition of "Munich" so I can tell friends I have it. I just picked it up today. I haven't even seen the movie yet. It looks good though.
