Clear Slipcovers..
I don't know about yu but I prefer DVDs with Clear Slipcovers.

I find that it makes the DVD look better especially if it's a Double Disc, for example:
- 2-Disc Unrated Extended cut of Underworld
- Resident Evil: Apocalypse
- Saw

and I find them mch better looking than slipcovers that repeat the DVD cover...

What are your thoughts on them??

Well I think that they're pretty cool also but I think its because they look different from the norm.

theres only one exception. Stir of Echoes Special Edition has a clear slipcover, but its really cheap. Its cheap plastic, very flismy and looks sloppy.

I thought that they were tops and I have all 3 of them. As long as they are done with the quality that these 3 were...

Sucks though if the place you bought it from put a sticker on it. I bought Saw at Circuit City and they put a sticker on it. I took it off and now there's a sticky mark on it.

I prefer just plain amaray cases. But I don't mind flimsy cardboard slipcovers as long as the design is better than that of the case insert (eg R1 Dogma SE). Good quality thick cardboard, metal or plastic slipcovers absolutely own.

I HATE digipacks. They damage/wear so easily. The worst digipack I've seen thus far is definately that of R1 Alien Quadrilogy. The back panel of my Alien Disc 2 never stayed glued down, it came unstuck after one day. I wish I had the far superior packaging of the R2/4 Quad.

I HATE WHEN THEY PUT STICKERS ON THE SLIPCOVERS! GRR! But store stickers usually come off ok, it's the company stickers that don't come off.

I don't like the clear slipcovers that much, with the exception of Saw which i like because it's just so origninal.

I have seen copies of RE2 that had a regular cover and i liked that better. (They must have come from the two-pack?)

Yeah I'm starting to hate digipacks too. Like I recently bought the first season of 24 and every time I open it a couple of discs will fall out.
