I notice you didnt say what you're copying. Cause copying rented or borrowed DVD's is a no no.
However, since you didnt - I would simply go into Nero's options and turn off the data verification. It sounds like a bug in the software, not your drive. If you want to verify that data is on there, take the disc out and pop it into a stand alone player or DVD-ROM drive.

Also read up on copying - maybe you may need to use dvd-decrypter or such ot decode it first in case Nero is not strong enough

I bought a DVD writer about a month ago and have had nothing but trouble with it when it comes to copying with it. I took it back to the store but after repeated checks it came back fine. It is a Lite-on DVDRW SOHW-1673s and i am using Nero 6 ultra edition to copy with. I have used two types of discs which are decent quality. The problem occurs when I try to verify the copied discs, when it gets to about 93% (this varies slightly) I get the message bad data. I am copying at 4x. If no-one can help i would greatly appreciate any help with regards to other good web sites i can continue my search.
Thanks Steve
