Why floyd dylan was banned?
Anchor Man
The 40-Year Old Virgin & Wedding Crashers. Thank god I did not see them in the theater, or I would've demanded my money back!  LOL
I would of said THE Lord of the Rings (the first one) but I was there on opening day and nobody told me I had to see it!  We just went.  I was just bored! I think I walked out for 30 minutes to have cigarettes!

Blair Witch Project - KILL THAT SCREAMING B***H!!!!

Season 7: The Contender - Running Man did it better.

Cruel Intention - According to that film everyone in that town was involved except for the
copper.

THX 1138 - overlong, dated, and the only reason it's got all this attention is because it's made by Lucas, made by anyone else and it would be easily dismissed.

at least he is banned and for not liking Darko he should be
Dude, everyone has their own opinions on things. Just because that he didn't like one movie doesn't mean that you think he should of been banned for that reason, which he wasn't. Just because that someone has a different taste in films than you do doesn't mean that there is something wrong with him. I like Boondock Saints and you don't, big fricken deal! Get over it that people have different tastes in things and not everyone has the same tastes as you.

ERASERHEAD. I found myself wishing I were at the dentist getting root canal instead of sitting in the theatre watching that overrated c**p.

I find myself in agreement with LukaszD regarding the Lord of the Rings films. Way overlong. Repetative...and quite frankly boring. I just don't get it.

Same goes for the HARRY POTTER films. I struggled through the first one. Couldn't make it past 20 minutes on the second. Wouldn't even attempt viewing the third.
Ray - doesn't captured me as much I supposed...

The LOTR films are as close to high fantasy as you'll get, which is one of those subgenres that splits audience opinion. The majority of people I know in real life (ie not on the internet) actually dislike the LOTR films or have purposely avoided them, so you are not alone in thinking this.

"Pi" "Blair Witch" "BAtman" "Out Of Africa"
I'd say the hollywoodized movies of John Woo.  Sorely disappointed about how watered down he became when he came here.  And the whole slo-mo, showdown, doves flying thing got old real quick.  Even most of the Jet Li and Jackie Chan flicks that were made here were crap!
Donnie Darko - Lots of interesting ideas which never fully develop.

Yeah, you're right!  I've heard about that.
For those who doesn't know, most movies contain 600 to 700 cuts. Requiem for a Dream contains over 2 000.

Friday Night Lights- loved the book, hated the movie
The Sixth Sense- liked it, did not love it
Cast Away- I never understood what people liked about it

Actually a lot of the Stephen King horrors have been a dissapointment - even though I am comparing them to the book....

How can this be?
The Wedding Planner
Spy Game
Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood

sucked in my collection, but the suckiest movie was HERBIE: FULLY LOADED

Dark City and Pi. Hated those two.

Ahhhh. It's only an opinion and I must respect it. For your own sake, never watch Requiem for a Dream or City of Lost Children. Trust me.
Dark City and Pi. Hated those two.

Stephen King's Graveyard Shift.
Any Japanese horror/thriller movie with characters who magically have psychic abilities to tell the audience what happened in order to advance the story quickly.

I think this is because the scriptwriter doesn't have the imagination to have characters figure out, or do intensive research in to what happened to a particular person or place.

I’m not saying that the movies are crap, it’s just laziness on the writers who want to hurry the story by having a series of flashbacks thanks to psychic abilities which was never discussed in the first half of the movie.
Mine was Mystic fucking River. TRIPE!

and yours are wrong Je.Wink

Name the movie that everyone told you that you had to see, and when you saw it you were disapointed.
