Dumb & Dumber Unrated
Did anybody see this new "extended" release? I have the bare-bones and would like to know if it's worth double-dippin for. Also, is this a 2 disc set, and why didn't the Farrelly bros record a commentary track like in most of their other movies???

This is not a 2 disc set.  It's definitely worth the upgrade for the sole fact that there are new scenes added on.  It's not like in some of the other unrated versions of dvds where you can't even tell what's been added.  I traded in my old copy and picked it definitely worth it.

Liran, I just picked this one up last weekend but I have not viewed it yet. I don't think it will make much difference which version you have. There is only 6 minutes of additional footage and it is a single disc release. You could do a review search at http://www.dvd-basen.dk/uk/home.php3

Can you watch the original version as well?  I was surprised when I found out that Stripes contained both the original and extended version.  Mostly, I hate to have two discs to get two different versions of the movies (except for LOTR for some reason).

You can't watch the original version it just has the 6 minutes of scenes put back in plus about 20 minutes of deleted scenes (which aren't great) but are interesting to watch if you're a big fan.
