Touting for business or a genuine newbie?
I use Amazon because 4 per month seems about the right limit for me. The service is good when you get a scratched DVD as well, they send another one out pretty much straight away (on top of your quota) when you report it. Another good feature is that you can actually see which of the DVDs on your list are available and which ones aren't.
I used to be with Mailbox Movies but you couldn't see which DVDs were available and they jacked the price up without telling me.

I have noticed with Tesco for example, that if you get a delayed post or DVD goes missing in the post you have to wait five working days before they recognise it as missing before they send anaother! That's not ideal, as the overall value for money for that week ends up going down!

I have put together a review site for some of the online DVD rental companies. I'd be very interested to hear you thoughts on the site and also you expeeriences with the DVD rental companies.
The site is http://www.uk-dvd-rentals-guide.co.uk
I have used all these companies now, and have to say that compared to the high street alternative it is a great way to get your movies. The downside for me has been not al;ways getting the movies in the order you have prioritised them and also that you have to make sure you have a pretty big lest of movies that you'd like to watch. Other than that the service and price has been been great.
