Are Scottland's posts a wind up? The guy is getting more incoherant as he goes on.

The spelling mistakes in the last couple of post seem to be increasing in direct proportion to how angry he seems to be getting himself. I don't think his trembling fingers can keep up with the torment and injustice flowing out of his head and through them.

Maybe we should all back off before he gives himself a nose bleed.

P.S. I will say Scottland did get one thing right, believe it or not? The little part of the 3% of the market sale figure of the HD formats in the U.S. That was reported by CNN.

In all honesty, I was just bored & decided what the hell. Threads like these are just useless though. Moving on...

Who said I knew everything? I never said that! (puttin' words in my mouth?) & as far you being a electronics tech. then yea, you should know about the new technology but that's your thing if you keep up or not. But just to mention, just because your occupational field is in something else doesn't mean someone can't know things just as well in other fields. It's something called being well-rounded individual.

I am still trying to work out why you say that High Definition video will never be the next format and DVD will remain the only one (apart from streaming). Do you have a full HD set I wonder and if you do why would you?
During this month HD-DVD has been getting more and more bad press with rumours that it will go down very quickly and that Blu-Ray will soon be the One. If it is (and I would love to see an end of the War - no matter who wins), then it can only be a win for the consumer as companies can now concentrate on one format. Where will DVD be then? Imagine how cheap the players will be, etc...
What do you think then will be the next format to take over from DVD then? What evidence do you have?
