No. Very few stores sell Region 1 Discs. And they are a bit more expensive than buying online. Hence why I get them earlier, not after the release date.

Here is the first pics of James Bond Volume 1 and 2. I just got them this morning. I like these better than the briefcase and the box sets you can get from UK and Australia. These not only save space in your shelf, but the packaging is also much better, hence the slimline DVD's.

great sets....love every Bond...
unfortunately i'll have to buy them separetly...couse I can't aford to buy whole collection at once (not to mention the brifcase set)..and here in Poland the box sets you have contain single-disc versions of every film..not 2-Disc like in US ...Sad

But i'm still goin to buy every one..cant wait Happy

It looks like Sony is the one who remastered all the Bond movies before they were eventually owned and distributed by Fox. I was watching one of the Bond films, and it had a wide range of subtitles (Korean, Chinese, etc.) that are only ever featured in most recent DVD's by Sony Pictures. Funny that Sony did all the hard work!!!

Haven't you been reading what I said? They are all in slimline DVD's double sided.

Yes, there are booklets - but they are actually those inserts you find in normal amaray dvd's. One for each Bond. Plus one promotional insert for other movies.

Keep an eye of this thread, when I will be posting Exclusive Pics of "Alias - Rambaldi Boxed Set" sometime tomorrow after work or Saturday, and.....wait for it....
the first pics of "Superman 14 Disc Boxed Set" and if I see them in stores - any other Superman DVD's. I should get the Superman 14 Disc on Monday or Tuesday.

that's a wise choice, this month i'm going with my 2nd FRIENDS box and King Kong Gift instead, looking to get the Superman Set later, would be nice to see the real pic from you mate!

Lately, I've been addicted to the 'Doraemon' figure set, anyone else collect the items?

got the KK set for $55.75 from Amazon US

Ofcourse plus $8.97 for shipping to Thailand for 2 items (Friends and Kong). Fairly cheap shipping fees as always for Amazon, I think! It's probably the same as the UK one, like Matrix + Neo Bust!

But HMV does a good delivery. I ordered once from them last year when I spent my time in the UK!

Good news. I finally got my Alias Rambaldi Boxed set. It is a Limited Edition out of 40,000. Bad news on the Superman, as the only Superman available next week is "Superman Returns" SE. Therefore, I'll probably get the 14 Disc the same week as you guys. So no point to show them here, unless I get them sometime next week.

Another member from an Australian TV/movie forum that I also join, has reminded me about the Bonus Disc that comes with this set. He got me thinking....Where the hell is it? It's not in any of the Season sets. or in a bonus sleeve. Finally, after fiddling around, I found it. The people who created this has made it really something, by hiding the Bonus Disc under the fake base that holds all Five seasons. Very Nice.
