Genius thread. If we could post links to where to get them from too, it'd rock even more.

I know quite a few places for many of the LE. You can ask me directly which one. Like Sin City LE (France) you can get it cheaper from (I forgot it's a small web site, need time to find this)

and don't get the Spider-Man Wooden Box from eBay because the packing was bad and it's very likely damaged once get to you. This box is best shipped by relative or friends in France, althuogh now will be very hard to get. Price + Shipping is about US$280-300 depended where you are in the world and method of shipping. But if you like Spider-Man this is the definitive collection for you. I got a realtive shipped for me last year and it's an awesome box.

I, Robot head is available in Japan (was once 50% off), UK (through HMV and Play.com - not sure if still available now, it was when I was in the UK last year), Germany and Italy. Same head althuogh Japan have the artbook which others don't!

Amelie France very hard to find. Again ebay copies are not new (the ost cd was used) and much better obtained from relatives but now almost impossible to find a new authentic one.

Alien Head available in Japan, France, Australia, HK etc. Again the Japanese have the "baby-Alien" which others don't. Although beware of DHL for taxation.

Germany have over 100+ Steelbooks and the best place if you like Steelbooks like The Departed *BestBuy*

Avaitor Germany, definitive box that came with authentic Model of the plane, absolutely worth it!

Okay, that's a bit too much work for me on Sunday!

PS: Probably don't need to post previous R1 LE since most of you probably knows it well anyway. There are a lot like Schindler's List Glass Box, Scarface Deluxe Gift Set, Spidy 1-2 Gift Set, Friends Box etc...

BTW to Mark: I went to central the other day and visit your R1 DVD shop in Sydney. Only had a chance to see one since the other is close before I got there (3PM Sunday Damn!) and the last one below the GU Cinema has moved to Broadway. So I saw Bobby last night and fairly much liked it!

To Bo Boi, the shop that I go to "Top Ten Sound and Movies" does not open on Sunday. Probably why you missed out. They are open Mon-Fri 10am-6pm and Saturday 9am-4pm
I hope this helps. NEW RELEASES arrives every Tuesday around Midday, and you can get future releases one to two weeks in advance. Sometimes they get NEW RELEASES on Friday if stock are sent away from their supplier, DVDpacific, on their Monday.

Thanks, This was issued long time ago. I've been to all that you suggested. There aren't many choices to choose from and prices are ridiculously high man! It's better to just order them from Amazon. Nevertheless, thanks for the advice.

So instead, I kept ordering from Amazon.com - far easier - (a lot) cheaper since there's no tax here anyway (under AU$1000). But the problem is now that I have to take it all home come December!

BTW. Just got Predator Head from Amazon Japan. It's awesome!

@ BOIBOI

I have found the "Un Long Dimanche Des Fiancelles" prestige edition french from Amazon.fr for 15 euros ONLY and bought it right away (I suggest everyone does the same, as there only 5 copies left on the site).

My question is :

is this prestige edition that I bought from Amazon.fr:

the same one with this one?

I've ordered this, shipped but has not arrive yet!

Man, I knew R1 usually got the short end of the stick with our usual bad artwork and lousy excuses for "special editions", but this is crazy!
