Yay! 5 more minutes of wasted celluloid!  This was the second worst Marvel adaptation I've seen (first is, of course, DareDevil). The Thing's subplot was the only good part about it.

Wy everybody gotta hate on Daredevil? I thought it was an excellent adaptation. A hell of a lot better than The Punisher or X3.

The director's cut was good, but the theatrical cut sucked.

I agree on the DC being superior, but I didn't mind the hyper-stylization of the theatrical version as much as I did in, say, Ghost Rider (Same director.... I know).

Well, due to the trauma I suffered during the theatrical version, I was less than enthusiastic to check out the DC, how does it compare?

I thought Elektra was the worst. I enjoyed FF and the sequel looks like it might be better. I'm glad this DVD is finally being released.

I didn't waste my time on "Elektra". Granted "Fantastic Four" wasn't THAT bad, it just went nowhere slowly. It was 2 hours of an origin story with a weak climax.

The best thing in FF was Chris Evans as the Human Torch, he made the movie worth watching for me. The movie could have been a lot better, it had massive potential. Like the end battle, it felt rushed.

This is a movie that has grown on me with time and viewing it on the mvie channels.  It still feels like a made for tv, afternoon special for superheros.  I thought all the actors were fine (Torch was best, agreed,)Thing was fine, Alba and Stretchy were decent enough (except Doom, he sucked in general).

I do look forward to the next one far more than I ever looked forward to this one.  Is 5 minutes more movie going to make it better or worth double dipping... I am unsure at the moment.

I got the HK Gift Set LE that came w/ 2-Disc so that means it's the same disc 2 then. I also got the BestBuy Tin that signified that R1 has a 2-Disc before this, but I never play the 2nd disc so I don't really know what it is?

Well, I'll get this anyway doesn't really matter!

Where exactly is this "Silver Surfer" featurette? I looked over the first disc and it's not there...

I got the single disc extended edition and the Silver Surfer featurette is the only thing that you get with it.

What's this Wolverine insert thingy that is mentioned?

Huh, so the R2 got that but R1 didn't? Here, there's is no single disc release, just the 2-discer.

We got both. We had the cut featuring the Statute of Liberty romantic scene, whereas places like Hong Kong got a truncated version of the planetarium scene and incomplete special effects...
