I know there are currently 2 editions out there - Collector's Edition and Tricked Out Edition. Which one should I get, in terms of value for money extra materials?

I would say the Tricked Out Edition offers a few more features than the Collector's Edition.

Actually, the features on the original release are better and geared solely to the first film; the main reason for the second edition was to promote the sequel so a couple of the features are devoted to just that and I don't believe many of the features from the first disc carried over to the second. And in case you are wondering, the video transfer and audio are the same in either case. Check a few sites, such as Amazon and DVDEmpire, for detailed listings of the features on each disc.

I have the Tricked Out Edition. I'm happy with it.
