Firefly Blu-Ray
has anyone heard anything along the lines of Firefly getting a rerelease on blu-ray? i know a lot of people were really upset about the first failed attempt at a high def release (amazon has even stopped carrying it because of too many complaints). so i was just wondering if you guys thought they might re-release it to give us a real hd firefly experience, or if i should just deal with the faults and buy the blu-ray version that is out now?

I'm not sure where you're getting your info from, but there's really no reason for a re-release. The source material was severely grainy and degraded looking to begin with - a stylistic choice of the creators. So short of a Lowry-level restoration AND new 1080P rendered effects (costing several millions), the Firefly BD is the best the series is ever going to look. And the set has been in Amazon's Top TV bestsellers since it was released, so I have no idea where you heard Amazon was not selling it anymore.
