Fox has found a Chinese partner, Zoke Culture, to distribute R6 Fox DVD in China.
"Fox's decision to work through Zoke signals a new willingness to adjust the high-price, slow-release model that it and other studios use to sell DVDs in major markets such as the US, Europe and Japan."
"Zilong, Zoke chairman and president, has long insisted that the Hollywood model for DVD sales will not work in China and that international studios must cut prices and hasten DVD releases if they hope to compete with the pirates...."
I believe Fox will do what Warner was doing in China... Lightening fast release and low price... say, X-men3, Garfield2, all under USD5 and get released in Chian first before US/UK and the rest of the world.
