I saw one on Amazon Marketplace priced up at $500! It was obvious the price gougers were going to be all over this. Should have been limited to one, maybe two per customer at most.

There's another one going on eBay for £65 with almost three days left!
i saw one on ebay going for £52.05 with a day left!
It appears that a lot of these have been 'delayed' in the post to the UK. I wonder how many of the limited 3000 production run went missing or were damaged in transit? As expected it showed up in the usual places a while ago, albeit without menus and the isolated score.
now up for pre-order, $37.05, $29.95+UK shipping! thats £24 approx. nah! Disappointing.
Indeed. Sometimes I think studios deliberately encourage piracy.
this sucks! ....According to a statement released by Twilight Time, only 3000 units of each title will be produced, aimed at the collector/classic film aficionado market, and available exclusively online through http://www.screenarchives.com, the nation's largest independent distributor of specialty soundtracks.

The November 8th Blu-ray debut of director Cy Endfield's and special effects master Ray Harryhausen's 1961 science fiction/fantasy classic, Mysterious Island, will be followed by a new release on the first Tuesday of each month. Scheduled follow-up on December 13th is the original Fright Night (1985), the horror/comedy cult favorite written and directed by Tom Holland and starring Chris Sarandon and Roddy McDowall.
I think we all know where it'll end up once it's released anyway.
Thought about getting it too until I read the price. I'd assume it also rules out any type of release for Fright Night 2 as well, though I believe Lionsgate still holds the video rights for the sequel so who knows.
I was gutted TBH. I really like the film and was sure it would get a general release because of the remake. Very odd decision from Sony.
3000 oh damn. I would have thought the `85 film would have been released like you say around now. oh well. maybe in 2012 then.
Not a lot of info there. I heard about this the other day and it's currently limited to 3000 copies at around $40 a pop. I'll pass thanks. No idea why Sony isn't releasing this one themselves to tie in with the remake...
