I really don't like Pink Floyd's music, but do enjoy a shot of the film version of The Wall every once and a while, but Little Shop of Horrors is just unwatchable to me as an adult, almost as bad as Rocky Horror. Phantom of Paradise and Tommy were made by two of the '70s finest artistic filmmakers years before they both fell apart. Both Russel and DePalma have always had trouble with narrative cohesion, and musicals were really the best ways for them to show off their talents. And the music was better.
