Damn! I guess I have to buy my cuzin roll bounce or valiant.
The Special Edition is already released in Australia in Dec. 2004.
It wasn't even called The Purrfect Edition. Shame. I like this catchphrase better.
I would'nt mind buying it too.

I would assume that it was delayed so that it can better promote the sequel.
I'd buy the current Garfield edition over either Roll Bounce or Valiant!

theres going to be a seuel? well that just boggles the mind
How does it boggle the mind? The movie cost $50 million, plus $35 million to advertise. It brought in $75 million domestic and $123 million overseas. That doesn't include rental revenue or sales of DVDs which I am sure added quite a bit to that total. Seems a purrfect contender for a sequel.

There are far worse movies than Garfield. I think most people didn't like it because of the change in John's character from the comic strip, but this didn't bother me very much.
