A movie that makes 1.5 times its production budget is not a flop, nor even close to a flop.  Now The Island was a hardcore flop.  Budget at $122 million and it made $35 million.
Adrian wrote: How does it boggle the mind?  The movie cost $50 million, plus $35 million to advertise.  It brought in $75 million domestic and $123 million overseas.  That doesn't include rental revenue or sales of DVDs which I am sure added quite a bit to that total.  Seems a purrfect contender for a sequel.

See I thought it had flopped hardcore, thats why I said what I did. oh and "purrfect contender"? that was just lame
There are far worse movies than Garfield.  I think most people didn't like it because of the change in John's character from the comic strip, but this didn't bother me very much.

theres going to be a seuel? well that just boggles the mind
I would assume that it was delayed so that it can better promote the sequel.

I'd buy the current Garfield edition over either Roll Bounce or Valiant!
The Special Edition is already released in Australia in Dec. 2004.

It wasn't even called The Purrfect Edition. Shame. I like this catchphrase better.

I would'nt mind buying it too.
Damn! I guess I have to buy my cuzin roll bounce or valiant.
