I saw the 5-minute promo at Comic-Con, which looked freaking awesome.
Saw this earlier in the week. Looks bloody good, especially that trailer for Machete with Danny Trejo. Of course the presence of Rose McGowan doesn't hurt either,
It'll be interesting to see what Rodriguez's version of battered up 35mm looks like considering the source is HD. It would be funny to think that that he might print the digital files onto film, weather it, and then scan it back to digital again to acheive the effect. It would probably be easier and quicker than trying to aproximate the damage digitally. But, he's a clever guy. I'm sure he'll come up with something.
for me it looks just bad....if only for this trailer I wouldn't go see it...but on the other hand i'm a special Tarantion fan.
Wow! Looks like a fun ride to me.
I love it when Quentin brings back old favorites like Michael biehn (Aliens, T2, Abyss) and Jeff Fahey (Lawnmoverman himself!!). He has done this a couple of times now and I love it. Pam Grier and Michael Keaton with Jackie Brown and Daryl Hannah and David Carradine with Kill Bill. It's also nice to see Freddy Rodriguez rising as a star. He's had a couple of roles in big movies lately, like Poseidon, Bobby, and now Grindhouse. Cool. He was one of my favorites on Six Feet Under.
