I know! I want to see it on IMAX so bad...that would be awesome. However, the nearest IMAX screen/theatre is all the way across my state.
I wonder if that would happen here in Sydney.
Only two days till the premiere!

Only two days till the premiere!I hope they frame it properly - saw Lord of the rings at IMAX near the mountains and it was only a 35mm print.....

Hmmmm...was Lord of the Rings even formatted for Imax? They prob just projected the regular print on the Imax screen...lol
I still didn't see this yet. I'll probably catch it on DVD.
Won't the film have to be shortened due to the size of the film reels? I'm remembering that Apollo 13 was shortened and it was shorter than HP 4 to begin with.
That depends how it's projected. I'm pretty sure a few IMAX theaters around here are setup to project IMAX digitally. If it helps, when I saw the Matrix movies in IMAX they weren't cut.

Looks like you guys get the good movies on IMAX. IMAX Australia rarely screens blockbuster movies in their theatres. Only Documentaries! How rude!
Saw Harry Potter 4 today. Definitely loved it. Very emotional at times and gripping. Keeps getting better and better. Can't wait to see it on DVD.

I saw this in IMAX. It was great! The sound was great and the picture was crystal clear. I recommend it.
I'm going to see it again on Imax this week. Can't wait to see those dragons fly around my head. Could you just imagine this in 3D?
surely in future

It took a few years for Imax here to get movies like this. I'm sure the flow will be your way in 1-2 years. We have to wait for it to come from California to New York before we get this stuff in Maryland and Virginia, if you get my drift.

I wouldn't be surprised. They cut a lot out of Attack of the Clones when they showed it on IMAX. If I remember right, the IMAX version of the movie was only an hour and a half, but I may be a little off. There is a list of what was cut for the IMAX version on the internet movie databse website.
