Wal*Mart in my area accidentally released this last week early (and immediatley took it off the floor the next day) but when I looked on the shipper that housed the DVD's, there was NO 2-Disc, and that was why I didn't buy it early.

To answer your question, I have no idea. I want to know the same thing.

It hasn't been cancelled no, at least not to my knowledge. It's still showing up on Universal's press website. Amazon probably just couldn't get hold of stock because it's a limited edition. I seem to remember the two-disc of Ray being pretty impossible to get hold of too.

After hearing on this forum that it might be discontinued I did some research. First I found that it's SEVERLY limited. And that it's already sold out at most retailers. And the ripping off has begun.
See here:

Anyway, you can still buy it online at places like Buy.com and eBAY. I went out to my local Best Buy where they had 5 left. I bought one! Whooooo!!!

I checked all over today for the 2-disc. Wal-Mart, Best Buy, Futureshop, HMV, Music World, etc and couldn't find it anywhere so I decided to come here to see what's up.

I don't believe it was sold out here in Canada, no way. I've asked an employee at each store and they've only seen the regular edition. I decided to order it online via Amazon.ca where they still have copies and aren't ripping people off. Hopefully the transaction goes smoothly! This movie was pretty good...

Well, I pre-ordered it from amazon and it was shipped, I haven´t received it yet, but it was indeed the 2 Disc Limited edition.

Got one of three copies available at my local Best Buy. Had about 100 of the normal 1 disc editions.

I'm still waiting for mine. My friend who owns a DVD shop here in Sydney, has pre-ordered, but their order for 10 of the Limited Edition has not arrived yet. But he has confirmed, I think, that they have been shipped by airmail. Hopefullly, he'll have them on Friday or next week when his next delivery arrives. He has the one disc edition since last week Tuesday, but I'm holding off till I get the 2 Disc.

I pre-order it @ Amazon just like Munich, and dont have to go through the hard time finding it like Cinderella Man and Jarhead which my friend got for me at BestBuy.

However, I put down Reservoir Dogs as well so all the stuff include United 93 2-Disc won't arrive until November if it will ever arrive at all.

What sort of back pack did you get Tony? Does it have lots of pockets? What colour is it? Do chicks dig you when you wear it around the mall?

Just kidding.

No seriously, what colour was it? Was it a big one? Does it have padded shoulder straps? Information damn you. Don't tease us with talk of backback purchases and then not give us the details afterwards. There are people out there interested in all things backpack. I'm just not one of them.

No. Seriously.

How much stuff can you get in it? Is it a little or a lot?

I ordered mine from Target.com.  They've got it there for $20.95 or something.  Okay, so I didn't order it.  My wife did.  Sue me.

I picked it up from Circuit City, but they only had 2 copies and they were hard to find.  They have already removed it from their website.  Is this another overblown situation where they will have a second pressing of the 2 disc set?

I don't know that one.  I thought they'd do a 2nd press of Munich, but I haven't heard anything about that one yet.  Anyone?

My local Barnes and Noble bookstore had the United 93 2-Disc, although I'm not buying it yet, but when I bought my Munich 2-Disc(which rules by the way)from amazon, I choose the 1-day shipping and it came only a day after it shipped. I recommend when ordering the Limited Edition DVD's, that you choose 1-day shipping, although it's about $4/5 extra for shipping, it's worth it.

I saw that a lot of places had it, and the other day I checked FYE.com and they still had it - with a rebate so it was only like 14 bucks. However, we went to Wal-mart the other day where they had just the 1-discer and I went ahead and got it just because I wanted the film so bad. At some point in the future if I find it somewhere, I'll probably cave in and get it, but in the mean time I'm quite content with the disc I've got. Can anyone post images of the set? I'm curious to see what it looks like...
