Batman Returns, Nightmare Before Christmas, Edward Scissorhands, On Her Majesty's Secret Service, I have more, but can't think right now.

It's not that bad, I enjoyed it a lot actually.

The Nightmare Before Christmas
Hands down, the best Christmas movie is It's a Wonderful Life.
However, I do enjoy watching The Ref this time of year.

I've seen a lot of films where they say Happy Holidays instead of Happy/Merry Christmas.
WHY WHY WHY???
That's happening a lot here too. Just politically correct garbage to appease a few disgruntled impish people in the minority. I usually always give a merry christmas. If someone were to wish me a happy kwansa or hanukkah or something I would take it as a good thing, so I don't understand what the big deal is.
Anyone who truly worries about such non-sense has got a broomstick sized spear up their arse!

Christmas is a religious time of year. by calling it holiday season it's making it less religious for the people who do not believe in the religions that believe in the christmas story

Bad Santa has since been released on Region 2. Took its sweet time, but it's here now.

Once again: GREMLINS
May have to pick up a region 1 copy. Could do with watching a decent Xmas movie after having to endure Christmas with the Kranks...

Really? That is a shame, this is my favorite Christmas movie and I watch it every year at least once. I finally got around to picking up the the two-disc earlier this year and it's a pretty good set, and the only one that contains a re-mastered, anamorphic widescreen version of the film. It also has a good commentary track with Bob Clark and Peter Billingsley amoung the extras. The single disc version is pan & scan only, so that's just another reason to go with the two-disc edition.

In all fairness to Pete, the article was written before Bad Santa was available to him on DVD...but that still doesn't excuse him for leaving A Christmas Story off of the list.
