o yeah nd wut I said b4 about the character thing I wasnt talking about development I was talkin bout how they made one carachter seem like the main one but something happens and you find out that just isn't possible. haha actually I'm watchin the movie now I just bought it 2day (b4 I had rented it) so now I can watch it anytime !!!

I hope you don't type your English papers like that. I was a little let down with Hostel, it truly only had a couple minutes of torture scenes and I disagree with the character development aspect. This is the type of movie you go in not caring who lives or dies, you just want to see some good torture scenes. Hopefully Hostel 2 will deliver the goods.

Yeah, not quite as energetic as Evil Dead, but that's more the idea.

It has a simular look to those films, but it was more like Roth's own Cabin Fever. Basically they set up a bunch of characters you don't like. They have sex and take drugs. There's a bunch of lame frat boy humor. Then the horror aspects sort of fall in the audiences lap and the last third of the film is total 'kitchen sink' stuff. Roth is good at making the audience root for annoying brats.

I had pretty low expectations ofr Hostel, and was pleasantly surprised.
