how about the hound of the baskervilles?
Plenty of films being produced where the content has little to do with the source when it comes to remakes. how about a version of the hound of the baskervilles, keep all the characters but add new elements so that it does not copy previous versions. The very title will get bums on seats..a sure fire winner
