I Need a Hack for samsung dvd-v642k dvd/vcr combo player
Hello,

i need a hack to convert my dvdplayer samsung dvd-v642k from region 2 to region 0 of a free zone, multizone.

any one can help?

I found it
heh, i asked a question and then i found it my self so i thought that i'd make it available to evrey one

Region code hack posted by Bob, May 10 2005:
1. Press the DVD button on your remote (the Samsung logo appears)
2. Press the SUBTITLE button on your remote
3. With your remote enter the code: 57538
4. The current region is displayed on the top left corner of the screen. (e.g. 2)
5. Press 9 on your remote (Region free)
6. Again press the SUBTITLE button on your remote
7. Open & close the tray twice using your remote
8. Power off and then on the unit
9. Enjoy the Region free player
