I saw Hustle and Flow about 6 days ago, thought it was great.
I know it's August,
but I plan on seeing The 40 Year Old Virgin and Grizzly Man during the weekend.
I might see Junebug sooner or later.
I really wanna see 2046 but it's unlikely to play anywhere near me.
I also wanna The Aristocrats but they likely won't let me in.

According to Tribute.ca, Crashers was #1 for 3 weeks in a row (before falling to Dukes). Charlie was the one trailing Crashers. I think it was a mistake I guess.
actually Charlie was #1 for its first two weeks, i believe its first week haul was in the area of 56 million

BTW, Danny, Crashers was only #1 for its third week (a rare thing to happen) and trailed Factory for the first and second weekend. Its forth weekend trailed Dukes of Hazzard.

Our Thanksgiving is in October. Don't know why it's been that way.

And I loved Crashers. I saw it 4 times now and it's one hell of a comedy. 8/10.

Thanksgiving 2005. Of course that's the American one so that'll be November. Can't wait for it.

Stupid comedies are nothing new. Look thru out the 80's with the Police Academy series. Nothing more than recycled and pointless roguish antics. Wedding Crashers is a pretty lousy movie and yet, has been #1 in Canada for the last 3 weeks. Hollywood is not the problem. We have lots of movies to choose from and people tend to go with the hype. It's good to have variety in entertainment.
The Dukes of Hazzard is a prime example of what's wrong with Hollywood.

Anybody who pay's to see Dukes Of Hazzard is stupid in my opinion.
Who would wanna see a sexed-up version of DOH When the show is already great.
Daisy was skimpy in the TV Series but at least she didn't look like a slut.

Movies that are coming out in the next months:

Four Brothers
The Cave
The Corpse Bride
Flightplan

Serenity
Domino

Doom

and I got to see The Island 2 weeks before it came out.
I liked it alot, it was harmless fun, and Scarlett was damn hot as usual.

Just read all of your latest reviews, Ryan. When can we expect one for Hustle & Flow?

i ended up seeing Episode 3 again this weekend
I'm not so sure about Stealth. It looks like cheesy popcorn fun, but then again, it may just have too much cheese for me to give a chance to. Maybe I'll just stick with Wedding Crashers for now and wait until The 40-Year Old Virgin and Red Eye come in August.

Flight Plan and Red Eye both look pretty good but Monster-In-Law was horrible. 4.5/10
I saw the trailer of Stealth on the "Hitch" DVD. Great stuff. Can't wait! I wouldn't mind seeing "The Island" too! "Monster-In Law" just came out. It was cheesy just as the critics say it is. Being a big fan of Jennifer Lopez Romantic Comedies, it was a little disappointment and she could have done better. I'll still get it on DVD next month so my mum can watch!
But the movie I'm waiting all year for is "Flight Plan". Cool Airplane, and a great thriller to look forward to.

F**king critics always over-bashing or screwing up.
Saw The Island. I. Was. Blown. Away. The Island was purely, utterly mindblowing and one of the most intriguing, engrossing sci-fi/films I've ever seen. 10/10. See it now.

The Island has really bad reviews. They say, too much actions and not enough dialogue.
I wanna see:
The Island
Stealth
Red-Eye
Dukes of Hazzard
Four Brothers

Stealth
Red-Eye
Dukes of Hazzard
Four Brothers
The Island looks good on paper but will it bring the goods?
ID2
...back in theaters once again. full volume, seat shaking.
shake, shake, shake,
shake your booty.
shake, shake, shake,
shake your booty.
After wasting money on Fantastic Four, I'm only seeing movies at the second run theater or waiting for DVD for the time being...I prefer watching movies at home anyway.

Front-loaded as May and June rocking, and then July kinda sucking? I'll disagree with that. In August, I'm dying to see Four Brothers and maybe The 40-Year Old Virgin.
no, but after this weekend coming up its kind of downhill

Basically I'm a George Romero geek and an honest to God Star Wars lover. Those coupled with WotW and Batman Begins really marked all I was willing to spend 8.50 on this summer. Though I may have to see The Island based on word of mouth, and The Devils Rejects may be worth an afternoon viewing.

i have to agree with Jonny, this summer was extremely front-loaded
Must....see....The Island.......Michael Bay.....is....da....bomb
Hmmm, I'll get my coat...

I got nothing that interests me until around November I'm afraid
Maybe The Island, but I could easily wait until DVD.

Jessica Simpson...I mean Dukes of Hazzard

In Theatres for the Rest of July...
What are you looking forward to, be it either the latest films or films out that you haven't seen yet.
I just saw The Wedding Crashers on Sunday and next, I have The Island and Stealth planned next.
