The Daredevil definitive edition has the directors cut with the theatrical cut extras, so that can be called an improvement.

Interesting...but can you confirm that ALL the UK R2 'DIFINTIVE' editions have remastered video / and / or / audio over and above their previous best R2 releases Chris?

The UK definitive releases have remastered video and audio, the recent US releases don't. For example, Fight Club no longer has audio errors.

Does this 'DEFINITIVE' edition tag just mean it's the unimproved SPECIAL edition with no additional extras or picture enhancement, and just packaged in a 'tin' case?...as I've just recently had the hassle of finding out about this scenario with the supposedly 'DEFINITIVE' edition of 'The Terminator', which I flagged up in a recent topic...
