Jessica Alba Fans should read this!!
Hi guys,

In today's issue of that MX newspaper I talked about earlier( has really good Hollywood gossips and updates on movies, actors, actresses, etc), there was a small article announcing that Jessica Alba has been cast as Jeannie in the remake of the popular 60's tv series "I Dream Of Jeannie". She will play opposite Jimmy Fallon(who I think must play her master)
Jessica apparently beat Jessica Simpson(I think is she is a better choice!!), Lindsay Lohan( You got to be kidding!!)
and Kate Hudson( Would be nice too..)

How on earth could they cast Jimmy Fallon for this movie?!! He was funny in "Taxi" but I don't think he's right for this role.
What do you guys think??

Jimmy Fallon was never funny.  I love Alba, but Simpson would be better for this IMO.

I guess they can make a bigger flop than Dukes of Hazzard.  I still prefer I Dream of Jenna, but that's a whole different movie.

That was an internet rumor that was floating around last week. I dunno if it's true or not. The rumor also said she turned down Fantastic Four 2, to do it. Either way she makes a bad movie. Although, since she's probably locked into a sequel deal and would get sued if she left, I doubt it's true.

But yeah, she's wicked hot.

JESSICA SIMPSON?! Shocked

First, she's too "top heavy" (if you know what I mean. Wink )  Second, she's as dumb as a bag of hammers ("Is 'Chicken of the Sea' chicken or fish?" )

Truthfully, I would've preferred either Reese Witherspoon or Kate Hudson over Jessica Simpson in the part.

I'm going to have to agree. I find stupid women very unattractive. And yes, there is such a thing as too top heavy, trust me *gag*.

Anyway, I think a IDOG movie is a idiot idea anyway.

LOL.

But seriously, she has to face the facts. She can't sing or act and needs to cut out the dumb blonde senario.

Of course she can sing. Kelly Osbourne can't sing, but Jessica Simpson clearly can. She's hardly top-heavy either; there's hardly anything to her.

I don't understand how Jimmy Fallon even got a job at Saturday Night Live.  I never saw a sketch without him laughing all the time.  He's got a hard time saying his lines because of that.  To think Norm McDonald was fired.

I bought Taxi on Thursday. I kind of liked it but I only bought it because of Jennifer Esposto. Jimmy Fallon was pretty funny in it

IMO, Fallon would make a much better Roger than Tony Nelson.

Tony is supposed to be your prototypical square-jawed leading man. IMO, they would've done far better to cast someone in THAT mold (Ben Browder, Ryan Reynolds, etc.) that a pure comedian like Fallon.

Tony was the straight man to Jeannie.  A good deal of the show's comedy stemmed from his reactions to her over-the-top antics.

Jessica Denies Doing "Jeannie"
From IMDB:

Quote: No Dreams of 'Jeannie' for Alba

Hollywood beauty Jessica Alba has laughed off reports she is donning oversized pants and slippers to star in the film remake of I Dream Of Jeannie. After big-budget movies The Fantastic Four and Sin City, Alba has just signed up to appear in a low-budget film and is baffled by reports she is set to take over Barbara Eden's cult TV role. Alba tells the New York Daily News, "I just signed on to an independent called The Wake for Miramax, actually, with Sigourney Weaver and Hayden Christensen. "(So playing Barbara Eden...?) not that I know of, no."

Just as I thought. What's really interesting is that a rumor like this exposes which media sources are garbage or not. For example, my local news ran the Jeanie thing as a fact story and they had clips from the TV and of Alba walking a premiere carpet and everything.

I wanna know how I get a job on the local news earning $60 or $80 grand per year since I obviously do a better job on the internet gathering movie info then they do on the air. Tongue
