I'm still holding my breath!
I have the import from somewhere its all color but is there going to be never before seen footage?

It's been so long now that does anybody care anymore about a new special edition?
Thanks demiscy I realise that now! the tarantino archives have confirmed Kill Bill for discs for sep 18 and they also recon that the film will be spread over 2 discs and the special features over the other two! They are also stating that Death Proof 2 discs will be released sep 18 as well! Does that mean that Planet Terror will be released on sep 18 as a 2 disc as well? I doubt Genius would release Kill Bill and Grindhouse in the same week?! If is correct then Grindhouse would be released on dvd in North America about the same time it is released theatrically over in the UK!!!!! Would not surprise me! are yet to confirm all this.

wait no they have!lol! said: Rating
Studio: Genius Products / Weinstein Company
DVD Release Date: September 18, 2007

What yer referring to is probably just a glitch. They wouldn't announce it on their site, taking pre-orders, then take it off while still saying it's coming out that day. It makes them look bad.

There is no longer a release date for this on amazon
Amazon confirms Sept 18th 2007 as the release date!
I spose we just have to wait till this site posts it on the main page...
@darth raph : the rating is NC17 so my guess is that is only the unrated ones are on it
I think its the real deal here.  However what are the extras?  I hope QT does a comentary.
dont see any special features on this yet? Is the package also going to have the theatrical cuts on them as well? Or is the extended cut spread onto 2 discs plus two discs of special features? Oh I hope so!
well either way my costly Jap vol 1 disc has been watched 4-5 times over 2 years, so if it doesn't turn up it's no skin offf my nose.

I don't think there was any dispute about the listing, just whether it actually materialises.
Surely not tboth this and Blade Runner in Septmeber - Ooooo I'm going to be one lucky boy!
No you are right demiscy it is on there! I hope they dont delay it!
After what we've gone through the past 2 (?) years with false reports and such.. I dont blame you..
Fprgive me for remaining sceptical. I'll believe it when I see it.
