Least or never watched DVDs in your collection?
This is an honest question to all of you, because I know I have a few that I bought just to have, but never took the time to watch. What DVDs do you have that you are glad to own for a while, but have not watched?

I'll start by saying I have Amazing Stories Season 1 since the release date, but never watched the DVDs yet, nor have I watched my copy of Attack of the Killer Tomatos on DVD (had it for years), but I am glad I have them on my self, and do plan (hopefully) to get to them one day.

Black Hawk Down 3-Disc. It's just sitting there... but I finally got a Wii last week so it'll probably sit there for a little while longer. Hehe.

There's loads I'm sent but never have the time to watch. Some of the most memorable - that I really should set aside some time for - are as follows: Mulholland Drive, Once Upon a Time in America, The Deer Hunter, load of CSI stuff because it's on T all the time, Bang Rajan, Crying Fist (fell asleep), A Bittersweet Life, Tai Chi Boxer, Ichi the Killer (uncut Dutch release, for shame), Clerks 2, New Dragon Gate Inn, The Swordsman, Once Upon a Time in China trilogy, Once Upon a Time in China and America, Perfect Blue, Millennium Actress, Project A Collection, Raging Bull Collector's Edition (!), Robotix the Movie, Rocky Anthology, Silver Hawk, La vita è bella, Zu Warriors from the Magic Mountain, A Very Long Engagement, My Lucky Stars, Twinkle Twinkle Lucky Stars, Millionaire's Express, City on Fire, Dragons Forever and loads, loads more...

King Kong-the deluxe extended edition. I see it on my shelf every day but can't bring myself to watch it. The time could be better spent building a house

Funny you said that, Stubby. I bought the first King Kong release last year, and I still haven't been bothered to watch it. And "Munich" Limited Edition. I guess I have these for collection purposes. My brothers and sister have seen these though.

I would say 90% of my collection has only been watched once. I don't tend to watch stuff over and over. Parts of films yes but I tend to leave a decent gap between viewings. A year or so.

I tend to run out of steam on the US season box sets. Though a fan on Babylon 5, I stopped watching at about half way through season 3 and have season 4 just sitting there. I haven't even bought season 5 yet.

Daredevil Directors Cut. Watched the extra feature but haven't found the time to watch the film itself. I suspect it would be the same with the Hellboy directors cut if I bought that as well.

Pretty much same feelings towards King Kong extended edition as Stubby which is why I didn't race out to buy it on release day. Not really interested in the extra footage. I'd have prefered a shorter version really like the director's cut of Alexander. I'll only but the Ex Ed of Kong once it's way down in price and even then it would just be for the extras.

Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves Extended Version. I think I only watched it to listen to the commentary.

I don't understand, it's one thing if you haven't gotten around to it yet, or if it was a gift and you don't particularly like the movie, but why buy a DVD if you're never going to watch it? What's the point? Bragging rights?

I agree with Cheddar, which is why I have to force myself to stop buying DVDs from time to time just so I can get through the backlog.  I've got The Vengeance Trilogy and 24 season 5 sitting on the shelf at the moment, which have "lost weekend" written all over them Tired

Well like I said, it's understandable if they haven't gotten around to it or as you put it don't have time. But I mean, I bought the "King Kong" EE (I had held off on buying the TC knowing this was coming) and I watched it. I bought it to watch and to watch again at a later date.

And I gather from a lot of the comments here that people here have won some form of lottery where they buy many DVDs a month, something I find impossible to do.
