I was just wondering if any of you guys and gals caught this brillant 2 seasons of pure brillance ...???
I personally loved it and rather sad that there will be no more although they are making a follow up "ashes to ashes" which is set in the eighties.. Happy

Absolutely brilliant! Captured the 70's so well! Best homage to the Sweeney ever! Gene Hunt what a character played so well by Glenister! The Bafta lot did not give him a nomination! Shocking! The coma twist at the end! Fantastic! What wasn't there to like?! Shame it is not going on for another series! But Hunt will be back in the 80's in London maybe Scotland Yard? Battling with a woman cop this time from 2007! Not sure how she gets there? If they have the same writing and production team it will be a winner! Ray and Chris will both be in it but not sure about Annie?! John Simm and Phil Glenister are in an 80's heist film called Tuesday which is in production now! They play the bad guys! Think Ashes To Ashes will be on the BBC in Feb 2008. Cannot wait!
