I'm hope a proper Collection Box set of the LW films comes out one day. An 8 disc set and better casing.

Lethal Weapon- the complete series
BUT, this 4 disc pack has the Directors cuts versions in a slimpak design, 2 dual sided discs etc...
Not the most collectible piece but a good set none the less:
Lethal Weapon: 4 Film Favorites

Yea I'm getting that "special edition" Braveheart..
That sucks about no box set though

Speaking of Mel Gibson, I received Braveheart (Special Collector's Edition) (region 1). For the fans, it's totally worth the upgrade. The picture and sound is better.
Different companies hold the rights to the films in region one, so no boxset--just buy them seperately and it'll run you around $30 or less depending on where you buy and what format ( The Road Warrior is currently the only one of the three available on hi-def from Warner Home Video).
I was wondering if I can get Region 1 copies of the Mad Max trilogy with the original uncut Aussie dialog?
Don't remember where (probably VHS days) but I've seen the original Mad Max with the Aussie dialog and it is definitely better then the "American" english versions...
So are they available Region 1 or will I have to snatch up a European or Aussie version?
It is ridiculous that it was EVER dubbed in the first place, does British dialog (despite its sometimes awful accent) get dubbed?
NO it doesn't, so why screw with a good movie and not only dumb the movie down for American viewers but change the atmosphere of the movie as well?
OK so apparently I'm an00b, There is a Mad max version that has the original dialog and the other 2 movies never had their dialog changed...
Now if only I could find a R1 boxset...
