I realise this could be a case of 'people who live in glass houses' and all that, but how old are you guys? I can remember watching a few episodes of this c**p back in the 90s and it was shockingly bad then, let alone now. Why the hell would anyone want to buy it?

if you know Amazon.com then the SAME BUTTONS but in different language are found inside the german Amazon! it's easy!
also, I came across an episode in the discs that the company behind the dvd release could not acquire the rights for the english version. so they only got it in german. (without english subs)

Trini wasn't attractive to me at all, maybe cute but no where near hot. Now Kimberly she looked good.
I don't see the 'racist' phenomenon because of her being the yellow ranger, especially considering the Ranger footage is derived from Japan's 'Super Sentai', where the yellow rangers are Asian every year, lol. Besides, the original actress who was casted as Trini was black/french (Creole maybe) and the runner up was White. The yellow ranger in Japan was actually a guy, which is why theres no skirt. I guess yellow isn't considered a feminine color over there. They weren't going to give her red (reserved for the leader) blue or black, so it only makes sense.
The DVD quality looks fine to me, by the way. MMPR came out in 1993 by the way, so its much older than 10 years old.
