They Should include an in memory of featurette to Thuy Trang (Trini- Yellow Ranger), like they are going to do with Heath Ledger on The Dark Knight dvd when it comes out.

But the new ones suck! The originals have a fanbase, even if it is kids like me who grew up with it. (I'm 21 now)

If there is a bigger interest for the newer series, why don't they release them as a whole season set and not just dvd releases with best of episodes and crossover episodes featuring old rangers.
For Disney not to think there is a 'large interest' in MMPR is pure ignorance. Kids who watched it are all around 18+ years old now, which means they have money to spend, and a new generation of kids will most likely be interested into watching it as well.
But they rather make expensive million dollar CGI Finding Nemo knock off films that do lackluster in the box office instead, so be it.

This is what Disney over here had said about a full season release of the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers when I had asked them about it, they said there is not a big enough fan base over here to warrent a full season release at this moment. Even thouh they are in the process of releasing semi complete season sets of the later Ranger series.

I love how a power rangers thread has got over 20,000 views.
My guess for why the later versions of the Power Rangers got or have got a full season release, is because the children that watch the later versions of the Power Rangers were introduced to it by their parents who probably watched the earlier Power Ranger shows.
