Cool. I have been holding back from buying the original bare bones edition for years. Another bare bones edition that I am holding off from buying is James Cameron's True Lies. There was talk of a special edition a while back when Fox was going to release it under the 5-Star Collection. And then somehow nothing was heard off ever since.
I just wonder if they will include the deleted love scene in the MI movie SE
They need to release the director's cut of Mission: Impossible 2 which was originally 3hrs long.
I found a much better picture of the dvd cover, complete with the dvd box, and the side.

I've just read in another site that the first Mission Impossible film is getting the Special Edition Treatment with an all new Anamorphic Widescreen transfer! No features or art has been set yet. Also, the original TV series is coming out as well starting with the complete first season. These will conincide with the release of MI3, in April.
I say bring them on! Can't wait for the new movie and the first movie on a new DVD!
