Groundhog Day.

"You look like a man who shaves with a Brillo pad and gets an erection on his birthday if the wind is right."
Tony's is from 'What's Eating Gilbert Grape' if I'm not mistaken.

"Is it too early for Flapjacks?"

Flash Gordon.

"Good night to you but not me."

I'd bet good money you've never even seen Flash Gordon, Tony. Wink
If you're talkin about the older Flash Gordon films (30's - 50's), then no, I haven't. I did see the 1980 one when I was about eight. I also heard they are remaking it too...

Dustin wrote: Tony, Tigerclaw did post a quotation... and I believe yours is V for Vendetta. (game continues with Matt's quotation up in the air)You're right, it was. And Tigerclaw posted his reply without another quote, so I guess he edited it again with a quote while I was getting a quote to continue the game. Guess I should of clicked refresh to make sure he edited it or not...

LOL
Whoops too late, Tigerclaw must of edited it.

Since Tigerclaw didn't post a quote, I'll post one for him.

"Our story begins, as stories often do, with a young up-and-coming politician. He's a deeply religious man, a member of the conservative party. He is of single-minded convictions and has little respect for the political process. He arranges for a special project at Larkhill in the interest of 'national security'. At first, it is believed to be a search for biological weapons for which cost is no object. But the real purpose behind the project is power, total agamonic domination. The project, however, ends violently... but not in vain, for a new way to wage war is discovered from the blood of their victims. Imagine a virus - imagine the worst kind of disease you can think of, and then imagine that you and you alone have the cure. How best to use such a weapon? It is at this point in our story that along comes a spider. He is a man who seems to have no conscience; for him, the ends always justify the means. It is he who suggests that the weapon be used not against an enemy of the country but rather the country itself. Three targets are chosen to maximize the impact of the attack: a school, a hospital, and a water-treatment plant. Several die within the first few weeks. Thousands more die in the following months. And at last the true purpose of their plan comes into view. Before the attack on St. Mary's, no one would have predicted the outcome of the elections. No one. But after the election, lo and behold, a miracle. Some believed that it was an act of God himself, or that a pharmaceuctical company owned by one of the party members made them all insanely rich. But the real genius of their plan was the fear. Fear became the ultimate tool of this government. Not long after, a group of religious extremeists are captured, tried, and executed while a memorial is erected to canonize their victims. And our young politician is soon elected to the newly appointed position of High Chancellor. The rest, as they say, is history."

uhh, I'm guessin Rocky Horror Pic. Show?

"Tony, you've killed for us in the past, and we've always been satisfied, which is why it's very hard for me to come down here today. One of my men was killed today in your territory, and the chinks tell me the killer was of the... Italian persuasion. Now, wait, there's more. You'll love this. Not two hours later, a little twelve-year-old girl comes to my building, armed to the teeth with the sole intention of sending me straight to the morgue. And guess who comes to get her? The very same Italian hit man."

Tim Curry- Clue

From something I just watched again over the weekend for some odd reason:

"This sonic transducer, it is I suppose some kind of audio vibratory physio molecular transport device?"

Clue, figured that one out after the first sentence.

"And shepherds we shall be, for thee my Lord for thee, Power hath descended forth from thy hand, that our feet may swiftly carry out thy command, we shall flow a river forth to thee, and teeming with souls shall it ever be. In nomine patris, et filii et spiritus sancti."

Movie Quotation Thread
Every good movie forum has to have one of these... it's universal law. I didn't see one on the main page of threads and didn't feel like scouring older posts to see if one had already been made, so I figured a new one would be cool.

The rules are this; no using search engines to cheat, that's low. Post the title of the movie if you know and then post your own quotation and we'll all try to guess it.  I'll start things off with a quotation from an oldie, but a goodie.

"Was you ever bit by a dead bee?"
