"Gigli" and "Titanic"
OK, there was one sequel that was being considered but never happened - Blue Streak 2 - Apparently Martin Lawrence was really working for the CIA and he comes back to help the cops on another job.
Unbreakable.
BLAIR WITCH PREQUEL
This is one that should of got made. It was announced on the following websites last year
1. www.imdb.com - removed
2. www.upcominghorrormovies.com
3. www.upcomingmovies.com = removed
4. www.comingsoon.net
5. www.movies.go.com
6. www.countingdown.com
7. www.thezreview.co.uk - removed
on the website www.haxan.com in the news area they said also they where going to make a sequel and not a prequel. They also mentioned the sequel will be with Lion's Gate Films and the directors where waiting for some kind of confirmation if they will do the movie, they turned it down.
This is one movie that should of got made, and i think it did but no studio wants it and its just sitting on the shelves in hollywood waiting for someone to pick it up.
I hope someone will make Blair Witch 3 soon. There was a fan site for blair witch 3 aswell but they changed it too www.woodsmovie.com which now doesnt work, lol, this is crazy.

oh cool, please make sure there is some gore, lol.
I want Michael Bay to do a sequel to The Rock
What? and why would Michael Bay do that? I loved The Rock too but I don't see any way how a sequel could evolve. It is already good on its own. A Bad Boys 3 is something else altogether.
And has anyone heard that the creator/ director of the Alias tv series is going to direct Mission Impossible III?? I hope he makes it good or even better than II.

I believe there was at one time a sequel to The Rock discussed. It would follow Goodspeed as he outran his fellow law enforcement agents with the microfilm and eventually met up with Mason.
I'm glad that never went anywhere.

One less awful horror sequel in the world, the first one was overrated independent garbage anyway.

Not exactly a movie but the anime Berserk definitely needs another season.

About Mission Impossible 3, Carrie-Anne Moss (The Matrix) was supposed to be in the movie, but left the project. I don't know the reason though. I might be wrong. I was flipping the tv really fast.

JJ Abrams is re-writing the script and totally took out the characters that were to be played by Scarlett Johansson, Carrie-Anne Moss and Kenneth Branagh.
I'm not too keen on Abrams either. I never cared for Felicity, Alias or Lost. I liked Armageddon on a popcorn level and a few of his other movie scripts. Guess only time will tell.

Here are some sequels that should have been made. Stargate 2 and 3. According to the audio commentary on the DVD there were two sequels planned, but it all went downhill and they decided to make that aweful TV show instead.
Escape from the Planet of the Apes (2001 sequel). Maybe not though, perhaps letting us guess what really happened to him was half the fun of the ending.
About Stargate SG-1,
The movie was groundbreaking, and its ideas had great potential for further development. Usually, sequels are made to continue the story on the big screen. Creating this excellent series was a much better decision than producing lousy sequels for the masses.
Fans of the movie get to further explore all the ideas: The Stargate system, used by humans to travel the galaxy for thousands of years; Egyptian, Norse, and alien mythology; true science fiction - with fictional devices and concepts based on current science; and human exploration of our known universe – part of what made Star Trek so popular.
You see the characters develop over time, the quirky unexpected humor, the use of an alien who doesn't fully understand American English (like Data), the struggle of the oppressed, the lengths humans go in order to survive, politics and government bureaucracy, and the underlying tenet that there is more to human life then our brief appearance on planet Earth.

Lost sucks and for 99% of the time T.V sucks
Blade Runner - Be interesting on what happened are Deckard and Rachel on the run?
Total Recall - Was it a dream?
E.T. - Would be interesting to see a movie the contact of E.T. affected the three children 23 years later. Did he or does he return?
Close Encounters of the Third Kind - Would be interesting to see a movie about Roy coming back to find that the Earth he's left behind has drastically changed and his children all grown up, and does he regret his decision to leave his family behind in pursuit of his dream?
And of course the following John Carpenter movies
Starman
Big Trouble in Little China
In The Mouth of Madness
They Live

As much as I admire his work, Tim Burton really blew it with the remake/reworked "Planet of the Apes." I always thought a sequel(s) to David Lynch's "Dune" should have been made to complete the saga.

I like those ideas a lot, but unfortunately, for 2 of them it would never work. A sequel to "E.T." or "CE3K" would never work because it would never capture the spirit of the original films. Those are one off films that are classics. I had heard that Spielberg was working on a sequel to "E.T." very similar to your idea, but I have heard nothing since so I hope it doesn't come to pass.
I would like to see a "Blade Runner" sequel, but I have one question: Do Replicants age? Was that ever brought up in the film or book ("Do Androids Dream of Electronic Sheep")?
Tim Burton's "Apes" wasn't all that bad. Does it live up to the orignal? No, remakes rarely do. But it is a good movie overall that can lead to "intellectual" discussions and allow people to be creative. So a sequel may be a good idea for the public, but maybe not so much for the fans, if you know what I mean.

I'd enjoy a sequel to se7en... though I had read that they WERE going to make one called ei8ht (seriously) and Morgan Freeman was coming back to battle a telekenetic foe. Probably a good thing that particular version never got made after all.
I'd also eat soiled pants to see a Fifth Element sequel.

Would like a sequel to serenity but seems the box office take wasn't great and joss whedon said there's little chance of a sequel happening. Here's hoping firefly gets picked up by another network. A couple of other movies I can think of are The Thing, Team America World Police, The Fifth Element, Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle and thats all I could think of for now.
jaded25: Harold and Kumar is in talks right now. I'm awaiting that one too.
I wanted to see a Blair Witch 3 also, but it'll never happen now. Maybe a South Park sequel will be necessary. Also really looking forward to the Friday the 13th sequel and Texas Chainsaw Massacre prequel if that counts. And if this happens, I would like to see a Scream 4. It's been in talks before but I doubt it's ever going to happen.

I gonna go for a couple of John Hughes films:
Ferris Bueller should have had another day off (I heard a rumour he was gonna have a christmas party!!!) and I've always thought it would be interesting to see how Allison (weirdo), Brian (nerd), John (criminal), Claire (princess) and Andy (Jock) from the breakfast club interacted with each other at school following their saturday detention.

Jurassic Parker
X-Mener

I need people's opinions of which movies never got any sequels, and we feel that should have.
For exemple Pulp Fiction or The Thing....well, maybe not but you get the idea
