Hmmmmm...
Alien Ressurection
MIB 2
RoboCop 2
And Die Hard 3 I dont agree with at all. I thought they were all decent.
I actually thought the third Die Hard was the best of the 3.
The rest I agree with though.
To it I would add -
xxx 2
Terminator 3 (I liked it, but without james cameron's involvement it just ended up being T2 again)
Star Trek Insurrection
Star Trek Nemesis
Plus too many more to count.

all the Police Academy!
I'm sick of all this Alien Res. bad mouthing! It's a great action flick. Really.
Halloween 4-8 should not exist, and I'm strongly rethinking 2 and 3 as well.
I use to hate Nightmare on Elm Street 2, untill I was made aware of its blatent homoeroticism. Now it's a hilarious metaphore for coming out of the closet.
And Die Hard 3 is awsome.

Now, now Gabe...you leave Halloween III: Season of The Witch alone or you'll be getting a Silver Shamrock mask stapled to your head.

I'll admit that the new angle was fresh, and that the kid's head melting into bugs and snakes was honestly disturbing, but I just caught it again on cable a few weeks ago, and thought it was...kinda boring
I also like to mention all the Scream movies and Scary Movies! and movies like Alien vs Predator, Freddy vs Jason!
I disagree with all the Police Academy. I only agree with 1 and two. The rest was a waste of time. Especially on dvd when 2 through to 6 only comes out with mono stereo. What is that? Surely Warner Bros. could have taken more time to remaster them somehow. The picture was horrible too, not widescreen!
Police Academy 4 was made a stones throw away from my house. Actually most of them were, but that one more so. Plus who can knock a movie with Sharon Stone, David Spade, Tony Hawk, Wayne Gretzky's wife and the one and only Steve Guttenberg.
"we dooooo....we dooooo" lol

At the end of the day the majority of sequels suck - quite simply - and don't forget the remakes (which essentially aren't sequels....)
Home alone 3-4 (both were direct to video if i'm not mistaken)
Sigh... Home Alone 3 did get a theatrical release unfortunately.
I think that winner for all time worst sequel has to go to The Hills Have Eyes 2. Even the freakin' dog has a flashback.

Analyze That - gawd it's awful. Saying that, the first one isn't exactly a classic either!
Don't forget about Species 2 (which really wasn't that bad) and Species III (awful... just awful).
Batman Forever
Batman & Robin
Candyman 2&3
A Better Tomorrow 3
Terminator 3
Alien Resurrection
Beverly Hills Cop 3
The Prophecy 2 and beyond
Lethal Weapon 4
Kickboxer 2-4
Jeepers Creepers 1&2
Men in Black 2
All Halloween sequels
Entire Friday the 13th series
Ringu 2&0
Nightmare on Elm St 2-6
Police Academy 3 and beyond
All the TV-movie/mini-series remakes of the few Stephen King film adaptations which didn't suck. Eg The Shining, Carrie.

Eva, I respectfully say you are WRONG.
Just kidding, but seriously, NOES 3 is pretty good. Did you really mean Batman Returns or did you mean Batman Forever? I think Batman Returns was the best of the live action Batman Movies, whereas I tried to watch Batman Forever on TV the other night and I just about died laughing.

Eva, I applaud you. You list have all the ones I didn't enjoy either. Good choices!
im amazed that i havnt seen one person mention the Godfather 3
Uh-oh.
I hear it in the distance.
An endless debate is coming...

I'd much rather engage in a discussion than a debate. I'm still sticking by liking Alien Res. and naming Hills Have Eyes 2 as worst sequel ever. I can understand why people don't like Alien Res., but who in their right mind will debate the merits of HHE2?

I thought about it, but came to the conclusion that the story was sound enough, it was mainly the lack of acting from Sofia Coppola that put everyone off.

I thought of a good one, Battle Royal 2. Totally unnesisary.
Want to know why I brought this discussion up? I found it on another forum and thought how fun it would be to discuss it here! O.K. how about remakes? any bad suggestions? I got one...Starksy & Hutch. Found it boring.
With the exception of The Fugitive which was excellent and things that expanded into movies like Star Trek and the X-Files, all remakes are AWEFUL! That's just a general rule. The very notion of a remake is simply a giant billboard that advertises hollywood is out of creativity.

A couple more I thought of:-
All sequels to Universal Soldier.
Blade Trinity

I'm also puzzled why no one has mention any of the Disney Sequels. I don't think there was any sequel that was even close to the original in quality of the story and ect. One of my biggest peeves is how they ruined Beauty and The Beast. It was such a good movie (the only animated feature to ever be nominated for best picture) then they destroy it with the Christmas specials and Beauty and the Beast Reloaded. In the end all Disney sequels suck .

I don't even regard them as sequels. All they are is cheap product and way to make a fast buck. I block them from existance entirely.

Exorcist II
Texas Chainsaw MassacreII-IV
The Godfather part III
On Her Majesty's Secret Service
The Matrix Reloaded/Revolutions - there should be a phantom edit style job done to this and cut both films together with all the choice babble cut out.

OHMSS is actually my second favorite Bond film behind Thunderball. It's a great story, it just happens to star the worst Bond.
Here's my favorite to worst Bond:
Sir Sean Connery
Pierce Brosnan
Sir Roger Moore
Timothy Dalton
George Lazenby
