Yeah, I could go for a SE of that one, and anyone who says bad things about it will get the jingle that turns their head into a pile of snakes and bugs mysteriously sent to them! Oops...too late!

I am not bashing halloween 3. I like it. All I am saying is that it isn't as good as the others, but then again I love Michael Myers.
I also think that the Lethal Weapon quad should be released in seperate two-disc DVDs like the Alien quad was.

Even though I would definitley not buy Lethal Weapon 4, I would gladly buy Lethal Weapon and Lethal Weapon 2, and possibly Lethal Weapon 3.
Silence of the Lambs already has an S.E.
Full Metal Jacket
The Hunt for Red October
Braveheart
Con Air
Ronin
The Fugitive
The Negotiator
Sleepy Hollow
The Silent of the Lambs

...just to name a few

Quickly, don't let Matt see that Halloween Three comment!!
Seriously though, I'm sure we'll get uber-special editions of the Star Wars movies from now until the end of time. I'm not a fan of Willow or Halloween 4-whatever, and yes, I have seen them all, so I guess your on your own there. I'm pretty sure Anchor Bay UK owns all of them, so the UK might end up releasing so special editions down the road.

Meanwhile, Anchor Bay, where the f**k is my Cemetery Man DVD? Huh? Huh?
The original Star Wars films should each get the two-disc treatement. There should be a special edition of all the Halloween films, except three, but I would probably buy that one as well. Willow definitely needs a two disc treatment.

Yeah, I'm going to order Flash Gordon from R2 after Xmas since it looks like it's getting no love from Universal here. Besides a decent transfer, I want that Brian Blessed commentary..."GORDON'S ALIVE!? DIIIIIVE!" Hmmm...thinking about it kind of gives me the itch to watch it over the weekend as it's been a while...

As far as TF stealing your cap, I say we pay them a visit before heading off to sack those dirty, no good elves.

It's been released in region two, but Universal's Flash Gordon needs a region one, special edition release. I thought for sure with this being the movie's 25th anniversary this year that we'd see it. I just want a cleaned up, anamorphic copy so that I can replace my seven year-old Image disc.

Yeah, I want Hearts of Darkness: A Filmmaker's Apocalypse released on DVD too...my old VHS tape is getting pretty ragged around the edges. It's still my favorite documentary on the making of a film yet.
I'm ok with my standard, non-extended edition of Apocalypse Now, HOWEVER, I do want the making of documentary on DVD. If they released that I'd buy it.
I agree, the Kubrick films need to be put into a better edition, instead of releasing odd movies on anniversaries and such.
Hitch!
Apocolypse Now!
BLADE RUNNER!!!! FOR THE LOVE OF EVERY SKINJOB GOD, PLEASE RELEASE A PROPER SE OF BLAAAAAAADE RUNNER!!!!!! THINK OF THE CHIL.....Ahem..
..composed now. Yes. (puts back on shirt, and walks calmly to the door) Go back about your business, nothin to see here......

Isn't this already out on Region 1??

There's a single disc special edition out with some fairly lame extras and a basic audio/video presentation. It came out just before the studios started issuing mainly 2-disc special editions.

No, not yet.

Anyway Blade Runner will make a good SE.

Blade Runner, Cemetery Man, I want a reprint of that Old Boy SE, all the Kubrick movies could use an overhaul, other stuff I can't think of.

South Park Bigger Longer and Uncut
2001: A Space Odyssey,
obviously.
Although their is a collector's edition that contains a special 70 mm film cell, and a mild amount of extras.
Blade Runner as well,
it needs a new transfer(the one that's out right now is just ok, and a 5.1 mix.
i def. think there should be Delux SE of:
Das Bot (the best WW movie all times)

Yeah! Do you guys ever back track the thread topics or are there just some lazy people out there???
Wasn't there a thread for something like this before?
